Savor offers interactive experiences for a variety of settings and ages - across North America and abroad!
A typical stand-alone Savor program combines Ladino songs about food with a Sephardic cooking demonstration and/or hands-on cooking experience. Sephardic storytelling and history are wrapped in! Led by Sarah Aroeste and Susan Barocas, Savor programs typically last up to 2 hours and sometimes include guest musicians and chefs. We work with synagogues, JCCs, museums, food festivals, community organizations, schools, universities and more. Each program involves audience participation and is tailored to meet your group's specific size and style. Programs can also be conducted virtually.
Additional Savor programs, such as Shabbat experiences, children's programs, Sephardic food history classes, Ladino workshops, concerts and more, can be added on to the core program above. Click below to contact us about multi-day residencies in your organization or community!
